Honeylove LiftWear Tank Review
Honeylove are one of our favorite shapewear brands, having done an in depth review of the Honeylove sculptwear, so when we saw that they have released a new product we knew we had to find out more. The new product is the Honeylove LiftWear Tank top.
The Honeylove LiftWear Tank is intended to provide you with all the support you need without the need to also wear a bra. This is useful as it helps to reduce the number of layers that you’re having to wear, something that can’t be underestimated as we start going into summer.
The Honeylove LiftWear Tank came at the top of our list of the top tank tops with built-in bra support so it’s definitely one to watch!
What to expect
The Honeylove LiftWear Tank is super comfortable, the material is nice and soft. The top provides a nice level of compression, leaving you shaped while not feeling squished or obvious should you be wearing it without anything on top. The tank has nice wide shoulder straps, which didn’t feel like they would slip while you’re wearing it.
We were really pleased that the tank provided plenty of support for your girls, what they refer to as “Wire-free underbust support”. There are cups inside the top, with a small opening for you to remove them if you wanted to. One of the good things about this is whereas some other tops will provide support by compressing the Honeylove LiftWear Tank provides support but maintains their shape and volume.
One thing that we would recommend is that if you’re getting the Runway version make sure the bottoms you’re wearing don’t have any bumps. One of the first things we did was to put this on while wearing jeans and where the belt loops protruded you ended up with what looked like white marks but this was just the way the material showed the light, when you lifted the material away or wore leggings we had no problems.
Honeylove LiftWear Tank Sizing
One of the things that that we love about Honeylove is that they go the extra mile to make sure that you get the perfect size. With shapewear it is important that you get the right size for you. Too big and you won’t get the shaping benefits, too small and you’re going to feel uncomfortable in it or it will tear.
Honeylove provide a Sizing Tool that will take you through a a series of questions, asking you about your normal bra size and give you a recommendation. What is really useful is that it then gives you the option to provide more details to double check. Honeylove ask you about:
- What hook you have your bra done up on
- What size tank tops you tend to wear
- Your dress size
- How tight fitting you like your clothes, and
- Your height.
This is all done to make sure you get the perfect size for you. We can’t think of another shapewear provider that goes to the same lengths to ensure you get the right size. It was extremely user friendly.
The Honeylove LiftWear Tank is lovely and soft to the touch and against your body. The tank is made of:
Body: 62% Nylon, 38% Spandex
Mesh: 78% Nylon, 22% Spandex
Cup: 91% Nylon, 9% Spandex
At least for the Runway version of the top.
For washing/cleaning, Honeylove recommend handwashing the Honeylove LiftWear Tank in cold water. One nice thing that we really want to see more across the industry is the use of the washing instructions being printed on the insides of the garment rather than on a tag inside of the top that you need/want to cut off. This is great as it ensures that you retain the washing instructions and don’t have to worry about accidentally cutting your nice new top or finding that it itches against your skin, which would be a shame considering how soft the top is.
- Black or as they like to call it “Vamp”, which you can see at the top of the page
- Nude or “Sand”, which you can see to the left/above; and,
- Honeylove’s iconic Runway, which is black, though the cross supports are more obvious. If you’re not familiar with the look, you can see what this looks like below.
Out of the three of them our favorite is the “Vamp” Honeylove LiftWear Tank. We felt that this was something we could comfortable go out and wear without anything else over it. The “Runway” would be a good option for something a little different and dressed up for an evening out if you wanted to wear it by itself.
The Honeylove LiftWear Tank can be worn in the same way that you would almost any other tank top. You can wear it as a layer underneath another top or as a top by itself.
The construction of the Honeylove LiftWear Tank is what we would expect of Honeylove. The design has been done with care, ensuring it is designed to last.
As mentioned above the Honeylove LiftWear Tank is designed to give you all the lift you need without having to wear a bra as well.
The Honeylove LiftWear Tank is priced in line with the other shapewear that Honeylove sell. This means it is quite expensive but it is hard to compare this to just a tank top that you would get from somewhere like Target or Walmart.
One thing that definitely helps makes the price more palatable is that Honeylove are giving a 60 day fit guarantee. This means that if you decide you’re not happy with it in 60-days they’ll take it back. They do caveat that the item should be unworn, though we imagine trying it on for size is acceptable, so you’re unlikely to need the 60 days to make a decision.
We haven’t tested out the returns process, though given Honeylove’s attention to detail and drive to ensure that people get the right size we would like to think that they would be very good about it. If you do have to use it then please get in contact and let us know how you found the service.
We really like the Honeylove LiftWear Tank we think it’s a nice addition to Honeylove’s line up and we hope they continue to make great items of clothing like this. We also feel that it is nice that Honeylove is taking their time to make sure each new product they bring out is of the standard they want to hold themselves to before releasing, even if this does mean they don’t have as wide of a range as say Shapermint.
Overall the Honeylove LiftWear Tank would make a super soft and versatile addition to your wardrobe.
Since bringing out the Honeylove LiftWear Tank, Honeylove have also brought out the Honeylove V-Neck Bra, which provides you with all the support that the Honeylove LiftWear Tank does while letting you wear it with any other top you would like.

For customers based in the U.S. they ever provide free return shipping. Though for other countries you will need to look up the price.
Honeylove specifically say on their Honeylove LiftWear Tank that it should only be handwashed in cold water. So we would recommend against machine washing the top.
You should definitely not put it into the top in your dryer.
